Button button what what the button

Hey everyone! It took me awhile but I finally figured out how to make a blog button that will take visitors to our adoption blog. If you want to add our button to your blog to help us spread the word that would be hecka awesome! You just need to follow these few steps:
1-Copy the entire code for our button.
2-Log in to your Blogger dashboard.
3-Click on “Layout”.
4-Click on the “Page Elements” tab.
5-Click on “Add a Gadget”.
6-Scroll until you find the “Html/JavaScript” option and click the plus sign button.
7-Paste the code from our button in the content section. You can add a title if you want one.
8-Click “Save”.
(If anyone does this will you let me know if it works? I have given myself a massive headache figuring this out ha!).

    I tried to add it, and the link is working, but the image for the button isn't showing up. (It's still up on my sidebar if you want to see what happened.)

    For now I've added it by adding a photo/image url instead of adding HTML code, and selecting your adoption blog as the link attached to the image. Let me know if you get the html code to work and I'll switch it to that.
