This one's for you..

Okay, I'll admit it; this adoption paperwork is a bit overwhelming. The questions asked are very personal and make you dig into every nook and cranny of your soul. It will be absolutely worth it of course, and I remind myself of that every third question I answer. There is a question that asks you to relate any special memories or events in your life. Where do I begin! As I was going on about slip n slides, Christmas, jeeping, backpacking, special times at Grandma's and the like I found myself talking about being a little girl and walking down the hall at Primary Children's in an over sized gown holding the hands of my parents. Then reaching that infamous yellow and black striped line that meant I had to let go of them. I'm surprised to find that my eyes are burning as I type this. So Mom and Dad, thanks. Thanks for everything, and for making me cry.
